AND not fake "original" parts someone has scrapped together. I just saw an AIM add for a fake 1903A4 for $1,100- so I have put the price of this original rifle at a reasonable comparable. I have had this rifle in my collection for about 35 years. When I pulled this rifle to inspect for listing I could not believe its perfect uniform condition. Serial number is 3397xxx. The metal retains its original green color, each metal piece of the rifle, barrel bands etc., contains the Remington reference mark "R", the bolt shows "R" with the last digit of the serial number the stock is walnut, in 98% condition with a "R" proof, and contains the original "SJA" cartouch/ inspection mark, the 4 groove barrel is bright and marked "RA 1-43". It is rare to find an 03-A3 that is still all together with matching parts. I toured the internet and could not find an 03-A3 represented in this complete detail. No import marks. The MW [muzzle wear] using a CMP gauge is slightly over 1.5.
