Since the venerable Marlin Lever Actions have always been our favorite long guns, and since we try our best to round up worthy specimens of the series, we have to keep the replacement hammer extensions on hand. These from Michaels of Oregon have been a staple item for us since the late 1970s. This is the Uncle Mike’s number 2458-0, hammer extension for Marlin 39-A, 336, 444, 1895 and 1894 rifles manufactured after 1982, the ones that have the cross-bolt receiver safety. They will not fit the old, pre-1983 models correctly. We’re offering them each for only $ 11.95
