The metal is in good shape with no rust or pitting. The wood is in good shape and there is one small crack on the right side behind the hammer. The nipple is in good shape and has not been damaged. The rear sight is missing. The bore is in good shape and it is rifled. Functional the moving parts work well. On the right side is shows "Harpers Ferry 1844" and there is a "V" and a "P" on the top of the barrel near the hammer.
