This rifle’s surface does not do justice to its bore. The bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent, while the surface will only rate Good at best. The barrel’s exterior, originally matte blue, is brown with about 30 percent light to moderate rust roughness. Walnut stock is original. It has extensive scouring but no cracks, and some of the original finish is still visible at places. Note that the buttplate is damaged. Date code on this 510 Targetmaster Single Shot is L TT, manufactured in February of 1948. Barrel is 24 inches with original sights, and trigger is serrated face steel.
