Wonderful Winchester M42 Field Grade .410 gauge pump shotgun! Manufactured in 1959, this highly sought after example of Winchester's popular light shotgun features a 28 inch barrel with a 3 inch chamber and FULL choke. All metal finish is polished blue and the stocks are American walnut. The butt stock has a pistol grip without cap and a Winchester black plastic butt plate. The slide handle has 14 grooves and a flat underside. The barrel has one steel sight bead near the muzzle. This Winchester is in excellent condition with approximately 99% original blue metal finish. A couple of minor handling marks on the wood. Metal stampings are standard Winchester markings for the M42 and are crisp and clear. Serial number 142766. A very clean and attractive Winchester that has survived more than 50 years in near new condition.
