THIS IS A CLASSIC NEW ENGLAND HUNTING GUN IN FINE SHOOTING CONDITION. 27" BARRELS ARE NOT CHOKED. 2 3/4" CHAMBERS WITH EXCELLENT BORES. WOOD IS SOLID WITH NO CRACKS. BUTT STOCK NEEDS VARNISH HERE AND THERE. SHARP CHECKERING PRESENT AT THE WRIST AND FOREND. SERIAL # 903XX... IN ADDITION, THE BARRELS AND FOREND FROM 12 GAUGE FOX STERLINGWORTH #899XX, HAVE BEEN SALVAGED AND CUSTOM FIT TO THE RECEIVER OF THIS FINE GUN. THESE BARRELS ARE 28" LONG, WITH FINE BORES. CHOKES ARE IC AND MOD. 2 3/4" CHAMBERS. IF DESIRED, JUG CHOKING OF EITHER SET OF BARRELS CAN BE PROVIDED IN ORDER TO TIGHTEN PATTERNS. GUN LOCKS UP TIGHT WITH EITHER SET OF BARRELS AND FORENDS INSTALLED. BOTH SETS OF BARRELS RETAIN ABOUT 50% BLUE. A PROFESSIONAL REBLUE OF THE BARRELS CAN BE PROVIDED AND WOULD GREATLY ENHANCE THE APPEARANCE OF THIS FINE OLD HUNTING GUN. OPTIONAL BOYT TWO BARREL TAKE DOWN CASE AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL $100. SHIP TO FFL OR C&R. LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: All cartridge firing firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in your state. Buyer to supply a signed copy of local dealer’s license before shipment will be made. A C&R License is acceptable for C&R firearms, (guns determined to be C&R’s by ATF and/or guns known to be at least 50 years old). Antique firearms and replicas require buyer to supply proof of age.
