Superior quailty pre-war drilling made in Germany, with 16ga FULL/FULL chambered for the 2 9/16" shell. Barrels are 27 1/2" long, and have several German proof marks on the underside. Action opens with the pull forward trigger guard. Frame has cold chisel scroll engraving. And have sporadic mild pits in the chamber area mostly on the right barrel left is much better. The rifled bore has pits in the chamber area, and looks like a 7.65 cal. where a .30-30 is inserted but the rim is too thick to seat. Both hammers work good. Only identification is on the barrels in a circle: KRUPP SCHER, FLUSS STAHL! Walnut wood is verty good with some figural grain. Medal parts were reblued long ago, and retain about 98%,not a pitted, or over sanded example!
