It has period markings and a blued finish. This type Drum was produced for the Artillery model Luger making it a semi auto rifle when the shoulder stock was attached. This 1917 pattern drum is historically correct and has the reliability factor of the original Drums. This set comes complete with a Black unmarked Drum loading tool which is almost impossible to find and when you do the reproduction ones like this sell for $595 by themselves. Also included in this set is a beautiful recently produced Black leather Drum holster. Last but not least is an English translation of an original German manual. Original Luger Snail Drums sell for thousands of dollars even in poor condition and almost never have any of the accessories.
