Unfired and in like-new condition, this beautifully engraved 1969 Commemorative rifle is chambered in 30-30 Winchester. The 20 in. octagonal barrel and lever-action trigger mechanism have a blued finish. Beautiful nickel plating is applied to the receiver, butt plate, and forend cap. The fitment of these pieces to the walnut stock and forend is exceptional. A Theodore Roosevelt Presidential relief medal is embedded in the walnut stock. Close inspection reveals only one very small handling mark on the edge of the stock. The original box is long gone, however, the original Certificate from Winchester in mint condition is included.
