This pistol started life as black (paracote). Invested around 50 hours to the polish job. It was fine sanded and polished and let me tell you this is beautiful. Was not able to find any machining flaws during the process. 5 inch barrel, chip McCormick trigger. Fired 500 rounds in 50 round increments since Ive had it. I purchased it new locally. Pistol is 100% disassembled and cleaned after each session. No fouling or copper build up in this baby. Every single part inside and out is perfectly clean and lubed with millcomm. Never had a malfunction. Slide is smoother and tighter than literally any other 1911 I have ever held/fired. No exaggerating. Feels like it rides on butter rails. Made the mag release super smooth, slide release is super smooth. This one will not disappoint. People comment on it all the time. Sad to see it go but it's time.
