Description: From a New England collection, comes this attractive descendant of the Remington Model 95 Derringer. Manufacturer marking is simply, Italy; most likely Manufacturer was Fratelli Tanfoglio S.N.C. of Gardone Val Trompa, Italy. Importer was Eig Cutlery of Miami, and so marked. From its XXIII Italian Date Code, it was manufactured in 1967, 10 years after Richard Boone’s derringer debuted on CBS Television in the hands of Paladin. Type is over and under two shot single action only derringer. Model is simply, Eig Derringer. This is the ancestor to FIE’s D38 series derringers marketed in the 1970s and 1980s. Construction is entirely steel, but with Italian Walnut grip panels. Chambering is .38 Smith & Wesson Special Caliber, and capacity is 2 rounds. Barrel is 3 inch over and under 6 groove right hand 1:18 rifling. Sights are traditional barrel integral partridge blade front and fixed notch rear. Trigger is .265 smooth face, with matching serrated spur hammer. Ignition is floating firing pin, with rotary sear and transfer bar internal safety device that prevents the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is fully depressed. Frame is round butt derringer type, medium frame. Weight empty is 14 ounces, with center of gravity at the trigger. Surface detractions on this derringer are moderate, principally toning to the never plated arm and screws, with small amounts of edge wear that affect its Chrome finish. We rate it as Very Good, 80 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Trigger pull is a typically stiff 15 pounder, this is not a piece for the weak of hand. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We estimate this derringer has been fired fewer than 100 times. After all, it is not a target pistol. Replacement pricing on similar steel frame derringers from Bond Arms and Double Tap is $400 or more. We’re offering the LBJ Era Eig Derringer in the photos, however, for only $ 239.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, Chicago, District of Colombia, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, or any jurisdiction with an Approved Firearms Roster. This pistol will attain Curio and Relic Status in January 2017. We will be happy to hold it on paid lay-away until that time.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
