This Colt has never been fired. I've kept it in my temperature controlled safe for several years. The left side of the barrel carries the special marking of "1814- COL. SAML COLT SESQUICENTENNIAL MODEL". The is engraved with the Colt factory dome, the Paterson Colt revolver and the Rampant Colt, ejector rod housing, plus the inscription "COL. SAML COLT/ 1814-1964". There is also a Silver plated bronze commemorative medallion included. Only 5000 were made. The walnut presentation case with burgundy velvet lining is in beautiful condition. There are also twelve silver plated dummy cartridges and a copy of "The Arms Collection of Colonel Colt" by R.L. Wilson strapped to the inside of the lid.
