Gun range tests have proven it to be superb, loading a 25 cal. 75 grain for max velocity with the larger 30-06 casing, I've achieved rounds through the same hole at 100 yards only widening the hole a little bit. Of course the gun was rested on pillows on the bench using the wide angle Weaver scope mounted on it. Serial #: 132-30xxx from this you can find the manufacture date, you need only the first few numbers. The gun is in the same condition as it was in the 1980's, the bore as well.
