Works on, Glock 1911 XD Sig CZ M&P Pretty much any slide without a safety mounted to it.

Keep in mind that some sights are machine pressed very tight, and may require soaking the base with penetrating oil for a day.

Always push the sight out in the opposite direction it was installed, you may see marks on the slide cut from the original installation or you can check with the Manufacturer.

The tool is easy to use, shim slide with washers to get proper height before clamping. Bottom aluminum block can be removed for front sights.

Here are the instructions for use,

1. Wrap slide with cleaning patch or another suitable material to protect slide surface.

2. Insert slide between clamp blocks aligning sight base with sight blade, if needed use washers under slide to achieve correct height.

3. Tighten wingnut to secure slide.

4. Use a 3/4" wrench to turn adjusting bolt, this will move the sight blade

To achieve proper clearance for front sights take out the shim block by removing the screw under the sight tool and follow steps 1 - 4.

Lightly oil the adjusting bolt and tool frame periodically to prevent rust and insure smooth operation.

Note: Some sights can be very difficult to budge and may require soaking the base in penetrating oil for 24 hours. In some cases a Gunsmith may need to break the sight loose.
