Parker Repro 28ga. - SN00048! UNFIRED, CASE, MANUAL, ALL BOXES!

The Parker Reproductions are for those who love the idea of owning a Parker but desire the modern steel and technology exhibited in these fine shotguns. Faithful to the original design, the workmanship is impeccable and the guns retain the dependability and handling characteristics so loved by owners of vintage Parkers. Made only for a few short years, there are less than 2000 DHE 28ga. reproductions in existence, and most have been carried and used, as was their intent. This unfired example, sn28-00048 made in 1986 (the 48th DHE repro 28ga. made), is absolutely new and comes with the original manual, immaculate leather case with slip cover, original box and shipping sleeve, and 28ga. chrome snap caps. It has only been assembled a few times by Vintage Firearms for display at gun shows, but never fired with the exception of any testing by the factory during production. These guns have come up in value over the years. In 1991 you could have bought this gun for $1995. Now all listed on the market exceed $4500 in well used condition, and in the mid $5000's as new. Keep in mind there is a difference in value from "as new" to "new and unfired". Very few offered are truly unfired guns.

The 26" barrels retain 100% blue, mirror bores, choked IC/M (.009/.019), bore diameter .552 both barrels, minimum wall thickness 24 thou right, 23 thou left, no dents or dings, 2 3/4" chambers, strong well timed ejectors, tight on breech face and hinge pin as a new gun should be.

The nicely engraved action retains virtually all of the factory case colors, engraving still sharp to the touch, unturned screws, action tight with lever right of center, Parker Single Selective trigger crisp with 5lbs. pull right barrel, 6lbs. pull left barrel, trigger guard 100%, perfect mechanically, a brand new Parker Reproduction at its finest!

The wood is highly figured walnut, much nicer than any I see on the internet for sale at this time. And come on guys, we all know we gladly pay a little extra for the best wood! The pistol grip/splinter combination is the most desirable shooting combination, the finish is new with no blemishes, checkering 100%, no cracks, chips, or repairs anywhere, 14 1/8" LOP to the skeleton butt plate from the rear trigger position, 2 1/8" drop at heel, 1 3/8" drop at comb, neutral cast (can be bent to your specs within 14 days of purchase for a small fee), superb wood to metal fit, just a gorgeous piece of wood!

These Reproductions are affordable, high quality game guns and when compared to other modern double guns are a "best value for the buck". A proven design, that unmistakable Parker action uniquely American in appearance, balanced nicely in hand and weighing only 5lbs. 11oz., they are a delight in the field or on the clays course. If you choose to keep the gun in its unfired condition, it will certainly gain significant value as an investment, as there are few unfired examples in existence. Choose to use it and take good care, and it will hold its value MUCH better than any modern double of similar cost. Buy a new AyA for $5000, shoot it for a season, and it will sell for about 1/2 of what you paid. That won't happen with a Parker Reproduction.
