This sale relates to an 1873 Whitneyville Kennedy lever action saddle ring carbine. Cal is 44-40. Condition of rifle is overall good. Rifle functions correctly and while I haven't fired it I wouldn't hesitate if I could obtain some jacketed 44 wcf without having to purchase a whole box. This is probably the last 44 I will have and don't need extra ammo laying around. Wood on this gun is solid no cracks. This rifle came out of an old barn in the Fredericksburg Texas area, so don't know the history behind the gun. Other photos available. Questions invited. Shipping at buyers expense and according to buyers instructions.
