Good condition Frech St. Etienne made model 1873 revolver with markings on top of barrel: Mo. 1873, Side of barrel has S1875. Very good hand checkered walnut grips , no landyard ring! Locks up tight, and functions very well, with very good bore, strong rifling , and few patches of fine pits nearer the muzzle.Frame is numbered: F70219, t.g., and cyl rod, and barrel, and A screw, on frame. Overall the medal is a smooth grey, not rusted or pitted, evidence, in hidden or protected places that the gun may have been nickled, or silver plated long ago, possibly a civilan sale of this gun! This is chambered for the 11mm cartridge!
