These are 11 shot pre-Brady, pre-Ban magazines for the Smith & Wesson 4000 type metal frame pistols in .40 S&W caliber, including the standard 4003, 4043 Standard, 4006 and 4046. They will not fit the small single-stacked 4013 type pistols. Serial numbers of the pistols from this Department trade in show 1991 and 1992 manufacture dates. They are not marked Restricted, or Law Enforcement, or anything of the sort, because that was not required until 1994. Each of these has 3 slash marks on the lower front of the clip, most likely 1992 production. These magazines are in Very Good to Excellent condition, relabeled with Smith & Wesson bar codes. There are moderate carbon deposits on their yellow followers and minimal insertion and ejection scuffing on their stainless steel bodies. Photos show the actual magazines we have from this lot.
