The flash hider, though not made by Walther is nicely machined. The guide rod was custom made by Steve Bedair from stainless steel, utilizing the original Walther SD spring. The barrel has seen about 100 rounds through my P99 and functions very well as long as the SD spring is used. Please note, the SD spring is supplied with the barrel and must be used with this barrel.
