Description: Mr. Eugene Stoner and Armalite Corporation developed this Henry Survival Rifle’s ancestors during the 1950s. The idea behind the AR7 was replacement of the M4 and M6 breech loading and bolt action rifles issued for downed aircraft. Charter Arms picked up the production rights in the 1960s, and marketed these little rifles until 1990, when Kel-Tec affiliate Survival Arms took it, then Henry Repeating Arms acquired it in 1997. Manufacturer, then, is Henry Repeating Arms of Brooklyn, NY, and don’t hold their location against them. Model is H002 Survival Rifle. Type is blowback semi auto rimfire rifle, and the bolt return springs are quite stout, so a person is best advised to use only High Velocity .22 Long Rifle Ammunition. Construction is steel barrel liner inside a pot metal shroud, and steel bolt and internal parts including the serrated face trigger inside a pot metal receiver. Stock is gloss black synthetic polymer, and the rifle readily disassembles into barrel, receiver, and magazine all of which store inside the 16 inch overall length buttstock. Barrel length is 16 inches, and the length of pull for the buttstock measures over 15 inches from the trigger face to the butt pad which doubles as a lid for storage position. Overall length assembled is 34 3/4 inches. Weight empty is less than 3 pounds with center of gravity at the trigger. Magazine is current production Henry Arms, steel 7 shot. Since the magazine’s front lips act as a partial feed ramp, operators should be careful to avoid deforming the magazine. These rifles are known for being ammunition finicky, so to be safe, a person should probably stick to Federal, Winchester, or Aguila High Velocity Copper Coated Bullet .22 Long Rifle ammunition. We recently test fired one of this rifle’s well used 40 year old ancestors, no hitches at all with the above named ammunition. Replacement pricing on the Henry H002 in our area is well over $300 apiece, and they aren’t easy to find. We’re offering the Henry in the photos, however, or one of its identical mates for only $ 269.00. We were in stock on extra magazines at press time, $27 per. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $20 flat fee lower 48 states; $60 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, UPS Ground or USPS Priority with full insurance coverage. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
