The knife in the photo is the exact same knife that the winning buyer will receive. We sell knives like we get them, normally one at a time from collections; we are not Case Dealers, and we are a small specialty store. This is an excellent specimen of one of Case’s all-time most popular patterns, the large Trapper. High-polished stainless blades are flawless and well matched at heel and backspring. Handle panels are symmetrical, but the Dark Red designation is misleading, as one can determine from the photographs. Both sides have ample but spaced picking troughs, medium relief, but the smoother end areas and edges are light, and give the panels a strong and very pretty pinkish hue. Obverse Circle C XX inlaid Silver Script logo flawlessly installed into the panel. This one is in its original box, end label marked as follows:
