This is a fabulous 12 bore 2 3/4” Nitro proof Damascus hammer gun in perfect condition made in the late 1880’s and in the maker’s oak and leather trunk with accessories. Purdey style thumb break action. Bores are clean and bright with no pitting. Locks are back action with rebounding hammers and in perfect condition. The trunk is well used but sound with no damage. LOP 14” Weight 6lbs. 8oz. Barrels 30” choked, Right .725, Left .700 Barrel walls at muzzle, Right .038, Left .050 Accessories include: Turn screw for the lock bolt marked, William Evans, Pall Mall Wrench for firing pins Ebony cleaning rod, with 3 bore cleaning swabs and tools Oil bottle marked Purdey’s 2 keys for the trunk lock
