This is a very rare collectible, not often seen, typically offered at specialty firearm auctions. It is an ERMA-WERKE Model ET-22 CARBINE/PISTOL, .22 LR chambering, in it's full, ORIGINAL configuration -- in the factory FITTED, LINED BLACK LEATHERETTE CASE, and the ORIGINAL RED FACTORY CARDBOARD BOX, WITH CORRECT LABEL. ALSO INCLUDES A NEW MAGAZINE - STILL WRAPPED, plus the FACTORY TEST TARGET.
The gun still bears some factory-applied grease. Bluing is unmarked. Sights are perfect. I can't tell if this gun was ever fired, but does not appear to be fired. I would grade this item as "MINT -", easily 99% or better.
Barrel length is 11 3/4" - legally a pistol, despite the "CARBINE" designation. It opertes exactly as the original LUGER - Toggle action - which is smooth and correct.
Wooden grips and forend are exceptional: nice honey coler - no dings. The grips are properly checkered, while the forend ALSO has lower checkering - a rarer variation.
