The face piece is injected molded from Bromobutyl Rubber providing improved protection against all known NBC agents while Maintaining a high level of user comfort. The nose cup is made from natural rubber with a one way inlet valve that ensures the eye piece lenses stay fog free. The speech transmitter/ Outer valve is a combined component consisting of a large circular valve to ensure low breathing resistance and a thin layer of polyester film which permits clear transmission of speech.The eye piece consists of shatterproof flat glass positioned close to the wearer's eyes with a wide angle of vision so as to allow for optical instruments such as binoculars. The canister mount accepts any canister designed with NATO standard extensions. Works with all 60mm and 40mm NATO canisters and NBC filters. Fully adjustable head straps insure an air tight fit.
