Photos show a new specimen of an excellent and difficult to find Russian Made Rifle. Manufacturer is Izmash in Russia; Importer is TGI, Tennessee Guns, our East Tennessee neighbors; and model is simply Saiga. Each Saiga Rifle comes with a 10 round detachable magazine, and for all we know they will accept Chinese AK Mags in that caliber. Barrel length is 16.3 inches; and overall length is a compact 37.3 inches. Weight empty is a solid 8.4 pounds, so these are exceptionally light recoiling rifles. Sights are conventional windage and elevation adjustable, and stock and forend are durable black synthetic, equipped with integral sling swivel studs. Bore, chamber, and gas tube interior are all chrome lined for maximum durability. These fine rifles were designed for steel case ammunition; they’re every bit as tough as the Ruger Mini 14. Replacement pricing for the Mini 14 is upwards of $700 apiece in our area. We’re offering the lighter, rugged Saiga in the photos, however, or one of its identical mates, each for only $ 389.00.
