Make - Smith & Wesson Model - 10 'Victory Government' Operation - Double-Action Revolver Caliber - .38 S&W (not .38 Special) Barrel - 4 7/8" Finish - Parkerized, with case-hardened hammer and trigger. Grips - Smooth walnut. - Recognized as one of the "Top Ten Most Influential Handguns Of All Time" by the 'American Rifleman' magazine. Marked with the Flaming Bomb proof mark, and then "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D." at the left top-strap. Lanyard loop mounted on the bottom of the grip is case-hardened. Manufactured between 1942 and 1945. Condition is very nice for a handgun 60+ years old. Shows normal handling marks and wear to the finish and wood.
