I have a Star Firestar Plus M243 9mm (9x19) with two 7-shot mags. I'm the original and only owner, bought it new in 1996. Does not include the original plastic box and manual/accessories. Excellent condition with less than 50 rounds ever fired through it.
This M243 has the matte nickel 'Starvel' finish. An electroless nickel, harder and more durable than conventional nickel plating. The Firestar Plus was produced by the now defunct Star Bonifacio Echeverria, S.A. in Eibar, Spain from 1995 to 1997. It was imported into the United States by Interarms of Alexandria, Virginia. The Star M variant received the 1991 Handgun of the Year Award from Guns & Ammo magazine. The 9mm is well known for being bulletproof, reliable, and accurate. Many reviews and testimonials out there attesting to the fact you can easily fire 5,000+ rounds through these without a problem.
