This is a Rock Island model 1903 chambered in 30-06. The barrel length is 24 inches long and the barrel is dated 3-09. The bluing is is in great shape. The wood in great shape and there is a period sling on the rifle. The bore is very good. There is a bayonet dated 1907 with a serial number in the 200,000 range. The serial number on the gun is in the 300,000 range. This was built in 1918.
