Manufactured in 1931, the first production year for the Colt ACE caliber .22 Long Rifle. This pistol features half-moon blade front and adjustable notch rear sights. The left side of the slide is marked with the two line address / patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt. The standard model and caliber markings on the right side of the slide with ACE in a horizontal line frame. The arched mainspring housing, trigger, wide spur hammer, slide catch, and thumb safety are checkered. The frame is fitted with original fully checkered walnut grips. Original and correct two tone magazine with "COLT ACE 22 L.R." stamped on the floor plate of magazine. Professionally restored to 100% factory condition with full blue finish on all metal surfaces, including nitre bluing for screw heads and trigger. The markings are strong and clear.
