Argentine made copy of the famous Colt 1911A1 45 cal..this pistol has the Argentine Federal Police rollmarking on the slide..the serial number indicates 1948..overall condition good..the pistol has been refinished "parkerized"..there are a few storage marks..the serial numbers are not matching..several parts are non-original replacements including the barrel,hammer,trigger,slide lock,mainspring housing,magazine..the grips are laser carved and marked "Vega 45"..the mechanics appear to be in generally good working order..this would make a good shooter.
