These units were machined by Cerro (keyhole marking) which produces the forgings for companies like Colt, Daniel Defense, DPMS and other major manufactures. No FFL is required for transfer and the only machining needed is to finish out the trigger and safety well on the lower. The upper is fully machined and ready for assembly. Both units are hard coat Mil Spec anodized and ready for your build. ***Once 80% lower is machined, aluminum black or similar product can be used for touch up.**** Because both units were made by the same company to “better than” Mil Spec they have a perfect fit. The lower is broached for a perfect fit with a fully flared magwell.
