Description: Shoppers please note that we WILL NOT accept a return on this revolver. If you are a civilian non-dealer residing in California, the District of Colombia, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, or Oregon, you cannot legally buy it anyway. If you want a piece for protection, or anything related to launching an effective defensive strike, you’ll be better served with a Louisville Slugger. Here is an ordinary, unremarkable cheap German H. Schmidt Revolver, complete with pot metal frame, that came to us from an Illinois Estate Collection. This little German made H. Schmidt Revolver was typical of the cheap revolvers of the 1960s. It would do as a starter revolver shooting blanks, but it is NOT a shooter. Manufacturer was H. Schmidt of Germany; and the bottom of the barrel bears the word Germany. Upper left side of the frame beside the forcing cone bears two West German proofs, then the numeral 65. Our best estimate is that this revolver was manufactured in 1965. Importer was Madison Import Corp, so marked on the butt of the grip frame. Type is double and single action revolver, cylinder capacity 8 rounds of .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle ammunition; 2 1/2 inch steel barrel; brown plastic HS Grips. Construction is steel barrel, steel cylinder, yoke, rod, screws, trigger, hammer, and internal parts. Frame and trigger guard are pot metal. Surface detractions are moderate, with edge whitening and cylinder rotation marking. This revolver is operative, but its barrel has some play and is not firmly bedded into the frame. Mechanically, it is about as good as it was when it was new; that is, not a reliable revolver. We are selling it for its intrinsic historical value as a cheap revolver from the 1960s, and we will not accept a return on it. Anyone shopping for a good cheap gun should be prepared to spend at least $200; and we recommend using Guns America Search terms Taurus 82 Robertson or CZ70 Robertson. We’re offering this historic little LBJ Great Society Era cheap German revolver, for only $ 99.00. Not transferable to civilian non-dealer residents of California. Shoppers again please note that we WILL NOT accept a return on this revolver. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $15 lower 48; $40 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
