Here is an authentic U.S. Military, Government Issue double magazine case for the M-1 Carbine. Proper Military Name is Pocket, Ammunition Magazine (Cal. .30, M-1, Carbine or Rifle) FSNB, manufactured by Tweedie Footwear Corporation and so marked on the inner flap. Issue date is also marked, 12-20-56. This case is in excellent condition, genuine GI OD Green Canvas, probably never issued. Also included are two loaded magazines, at least 10 rounds per mag, of 1952 and 1953 Remington Arms headstamped original GI Ammo. Magazines are blue steel, Very Good Condition or better, with moderate amounts of spotting and scours. This little assembly is eminently collectable in its own right. It is especially so for our distinguished shoppers who are owners of 1940s and 1950s issue U.S. .30 M-1 Carbines.
