This pistol is not C&R Eligible. Here is a much carried, sparingly fired, quality copy of John M. Browning’s 1935 Hi Power pistols. The originals have always been Belgian made; this one comes from FEG, the premiere Hungarian Arms maker. This specimen served to protect our civilian allies in Europe during its law enforcement career. Century Arms’s Import mark is on the right side of the frame, as required by U.S. Law; and their model designation is P9M. The civilian market variants that we sold in the 1980s and 1990s were all designated PJK 9HP, same exact pistol. Specs are identical in every respect to the original Browning, down to the 1960s style rounded Commander type hammer: all steel construction Single Action semi-auto with frame mounted safety and magazine safety; Caliber is THE 9mm, 9mm Luger, 9x19, 9mm Parabellum, call it what you will. Construction is entirely steel, 118 mm or 4 5/8 inch barrel, right-hand-twist 6 groove; magazine safety and firing pin safety; weight empty 32 oz / 900 g; fixed sights; .265 smooth face combat trigger and matching Commander style hammer. Sights are classic blue steel, dovetail notched rear with stake-on half moon front. Magazine is the original issue factory FEG 13 rounder, interchangeable with any Browning Hi-Power magazine. Serial number is B 20,000 range, probably 1981 production. We only began receiving F prefix civilian market 9HP pistols in late 1986. Sights are the original 1980s era plain black sights. This specimen has moderate surface wear and weathering, with extensive freckling as the photos show. We rate it as Good, perhaps Very Good, 75 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos should suffice, at any rate, for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This pistol is Excellent mechanically. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. This particular 9HP will likely not any hollowpoints beside the round nosed Remingtons or Federal Nyclads; but for that matter, neither would the factory Brownings until the late 1980s. From the looks of the barrel surfaces, we estimate that this KBI has been fired 1500 to 2000 rounds, no rounds at all for this well made pistol. Construction is entirely bright blue steel. We're offering this eminently serviceable, collectable and attractive FEG Hungarian made Hi-Power clone for only $ 349.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, District of Colombia, Massachusetts, or New York City. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions where 13 round magazines are restricted to law enforcement, we will deduct $10 with no magazine, or add $10 for a new Mec-Gar 10 rounder, includes Chicago, Hawaii, New York, and Puerto Rico. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $12 lower 48; $40 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don’t let your buddies use your account, that kind of thing smells like felony level straw purchase attempt. MC/Visa/Discover/USPS MO paid orders shipped same day. 7 day hold on checks. FFL ok by fax, e-mail or mail, please ask your dealer to put your name on there. We offer 7 day money back on used guns and items, but No Returns on New in Box guns or on Lay-aways or ammo.
