Description: Ruger’s GP100 series revolvers are the even-tougher successors to their Speed Six / Security Six Ancestors from the 1970s. They are the most durable, most dependable revolvers there ever have been, bar none. This specimen’s 0 range serial number dates it to late 1993, Eighth Year of Production. It comes to us from its exclusive civilian owner in our neighboring North Carolina. Designer was Mr. William Batterman Ruger. Manufacturer is Sturm, Ruger & Co. of Southport, CT. Construction is entirely stainless steel, with the exception of the grips and sights. Class is traditional double and single action revolver. The principal stress point on any revolver is the frame top strap. Ruger’s measures .275 thick, compare at .215 for the arch competitor Smith & Wesson L Frame. Factory specs include transfer bar internal safety mechanism and floating firing pin; .312 serrated spur Security Six type service hammer with matching .312 smooth faced combat trigger; no internal lock; Capacity 6 rounds of .357 Magnum or .38 Special Ammunition interchangeably; White outline black blade windage and elevation adjustable rear sight with spring loaded dovetailed removable & replaceable black ramp front; Weight 45 oz empty with center of gravity at the lower trigger face. The Ruger GP avoids lateral cylinder play and endshake from its spring loaded yoke strut that locks into the frame. This specimen’s surface detractions are minimal, principally cylinder rotation marking and light holster buffing. Grips are original factory rubber with walnut inlay panels, original configuration. We rate it as Excellent, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Double action trigger pull is smooth and consistent, and the hammer travels fully 15 degrees on all six positions in double action after the cylinder times into place. On Single Action, the hammer travels fully 35 to 40 degrees on all six after the cylinder sets, and the single action trigger pull measures its original 4 1/2 pounds with minimal felt creep. Lateral play to the cylinder is negligible both with the trigger relaxed and with it depressed. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap measures .008. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel’s forcing cone is negligible, with no visible streaking and very little carbon. Cylinder chambers, bore, and mechanism are all bright and clean. Carbon deposits are minimal on the cylinder face, and we did not clean that surface. We estimate that this GP has been fired fewer than 50 times. This revolver comes with a very nice green suede gun rug from the period. It is well constructed, eminently serviceable, and collectable. We’re offering this 21 year old KGP141 Stainless for only $ 619.00. Transferable to eligible civilians in all jurisdictions of the United States of America.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
