S/42 MADE BY MAUSER. CORRECT MATCHING WWII LUGER. DATED 1936. MATCHING NUMBERS EXCEPT FOR FXO MAGAZINE WHICH IS MILLED TYPE WITH BLACK PLASTIC BASE FXO/ EAGLE OVER 7 ON THE SIDE. EXCELLENT METAL 95% PLUS ORIG. FINISH. GOOD STRAW AND ELECTRIC BLUE COLORS ON TRIGGER, EJECTOR AND OTHER SMALL PARTS. BORE IS BRIGHT AND SHINY WITH SHARP LANDS AND GROVES. WALNUT GRIPS ARE EXCELLENT CRISP, CLEAN WITH SHARP CHECKERING AND NO CRACKS OR DINGS. TOGGLE MARKED "S/42 CHAMBER. SERIAL NUMBER 3125 IS STAMPED ON FRAME AND BARRELL WITH MATCHING NUMBERS "25" STAMPED ON MOST SMALL PARTS. OVERALL VERY NICE WWII LUGER. THIS WAS A WWII BRING BACK. NO IMPORT MARKINGS.
