Confederate Richmond Armory 58 cal Rifle

Here is a Very Rare Type II ,58 cal. Richmond Armory Rifle with a 40 inch barrel. Dated 1862.
The stock has been cut down and the rifle looks to have been used as a shotgun.
The lock has a very nice brown patina and shows the date and wording very clear.
The stock has a repair by the tang as you can see in the pictures. The breach of the gun is marked with VP and has the eagle head no date. There is a stamping on the left side of the barrel that appears to read WJTD, not sure.
