This is the 1st one of these SAA Colts I have ever had or even seen.its in 44-40 caliber & has a 7 1/2" barrel,non-fluted,
solid cylinder with gold engraving with a Colt horse,& WC on the other side,& has black
scroll engraving on the edge,& barrel is 24k
gold scroll engraved,with a long building on one side & Colt on the other side,case hardened frame & the rest is high gloss blue
with smooth walnut wood grips,& has Col Sam
Colt on the backstrap,& has the owners manual
& the proper box,with all the right info on the label,but the serial number has been crossed out.this is a Winchester Colt Commemorative. serial # is 2896WC,the box is
quite rough,& manual has a date of Jan 83 on the back,so its most likely 29 years old now.
