The very well done 'DHE' engraving on this color case hardened receiver consists of a setter on the left, a pointer on the right and 3 pheasants rising in flight on the bottom. Foliate scroll covers the remainder of the receiver and also the tang, trigger guard and forend hardware.
Beautiful, dark amber colored, fiddleback grained, California walnut is used for the straight grip English stock. The two 28 gauge barrels share a rare beavertail forearm and the 410 gauge barrels have a splinter forend. A gold initial oval is recessed in the toe line.
This gun appears to be factory test fired only.
