Believe to be 56-50 Rimfire or 56-52 Rimfire. Saddle ring carbine made by Spencer Repeating Rifle Company Boston Mass. Patent date March 6, 1860, model 1865. Serial number 111XX. Clean, sound gun with Stabler cutt-off. 20" barrel. Bore is strong with some pitting 1/3 of the way from breech. Correct sights, inspector initial K on receiver ahead of carbine sling bar. Hammer spur broken. Magazine assembly in excellent condition. Lock and action body may have had some cold blue added. Nice original forearm has minor marring. No front sling swivel. Buttstock has sling swivel, one old repair with putty about 1" behind swivel and small chip out of toe. No stock cartouche. Mechanically sound, nice overall. Would be excellent for re-enactors. Photos on request.
