Description: Classic Sporterization of the Krag-Jorgenson Model 1898 Service Rifle. Still retains U.S. Markings on receiver.

Manufactured in 1898 - qualifies as ' Antique '

23.5 inch barrel in original .30-40 ctg.

Weight 7 lbs, 12 oz.

Bright bore.

Custom Ramp front sight with Marble's Semi-Buckhorn rear.

Pistol grip stock with 14 inch Length of Pull. 3/4 inch custom buttplate in stacked aluminum and Brown Micarta.

Low-swing bolt safety.

Sling swivel studs.

Former scope side mount removed & holes filled on left side of receiver.

Smooth & slick action with nice trigger.

No rust, corrosion, or pitting. Finish Very Good overall, both metal & wood.
