MERKEL MODEL 147SSL MASTER ENGRAVED SIDELOCK SIDE by SIDE ... 20 Gauge ... 26 3/4" solid rib barrels ... 3" chambers ... double triggers ... auto ejectors ... 14 1/4" pull ... 1 3/8" drop @ comb ... 2 1/2" drop @ heel ... choked IC/MOD. There are top of the line mechanics including concealed hand detachable sidelocks, Kersten top bolt plus double underbolt.

Some of master engraver Ralph Weiss's finest work with English style arabesque scenes of German shorthair pointer and two pheasants on the left side, and fox and two woodcocks on the right side. The stock and forend is triple X fancy upgraded Turkish circassian walnut with exquisitely executed fine line checkering on the straight grip and forend.
