For sale we are offering a Remington Arms Model 1894 AE Grade SxS Double Barrel Shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. Serial number places manufacture date between 1897 and 1898. This gun is in very good collectible condition. All numbers matching.
30” barrels are marked “Ordnance” for Ordnance Steel construction. Barrels are in good condition and have been refinished to a point. Barrel shows signs of heavy pitting in a couple places, overall though it still has appeal. Bores are very good and for the most part are bright and shiny. Some freckling near muzzle. Bores are both choked FULL.
Receiver is in similar condition to barrels and has been refinished to a point. There are still signs of original case colors. Some minor freckling present. Marked "A"
The wood on this shotgun is beautiful. Walnut stock and fore-end show minor handling wear, but overall retain a beautiful finish. Nice checkering on both pieces. No cracks or chips. GREAT APPEAL.
