Wards Western Field 22 cal S-L-LR

This is one the first Montgomery Wards Western Field 14M 491A 22 S-L-LR Bolt Action Target Rifle barreled receiver in great condition for its age. The barrel and bluing has natural wear but is mechanically sound and functional. This is a bolt action rifle with a tube loading magazine and adjustable front and rear peep sights. The stock is in Great shape with stock and forearm having swivels, and fiberglass butt plate

This gun is believed to been manufactured in the 1960's and was a model for the US military target and training rifle. My Father passed away and left me this gun which has been in the family for over 50 years.
