..........Due to the enthusiasm and pricing criteria set for and by the Luger collectors community, i am compelled to disclose my philosophy on value. The price I have set has nothing in common with a the book, pedigree, authenticity, nor its historical implications. Consequently, value to me goes far beyond these truths. I have set the value or price at what it will take for me to let her go. Thank you....All four digits 1942 are inscribed. The presents of the Mauser Banner with a 4 digit serial, makes this 9mm Luger 1 in 500! All matching except aluminum clip, and it boasts four digits as well, with a plus sign. The plus sign, I was informed, indicates, this was the extra clip of two packaged with the pistol. There are no war time codes but Nazi eagles are present. A Master Armorer, Certified Gunsmith, Army and Air Force trained Weapons Specialist, and former (AGI) American Gunsmith Institute Instructor, disassembled this pistol for me personally and discovered an additional safety that prevents an accidental discharge while being taken apart. Very rare feature indeed! If you have any info regarding this safety please notify. We are uncertain of the chromes origin. However, we are confident in the quality of the firearm and that this is one rare prestigious pistol, special ordered! We just don't know by whom, yet!
