Description     Shipping and payments     Additional information
Ruger No.1 AB model with the 22 inch plain barrell in 308 caliber.Verticle split rings which were only avaiable on the earliest No. 1's made, first or second year so 1968 or 69. The 308 caliber is also scarce, and the AB model is not too common. This rifle is not mint but it is excellent, it retains 95% of the original blue with the only wear being on the leading edges where its handled, no rust, it has a spot of wear on the left side of the reciever about the size of a match head. The stock has an oil finish, its not been sanded, and it looks good it has nice grain and color, it has the 3 piece checkered panel on the forend that is only on the early production guns. The bore and action are excellent.
