Largest and strongest production trap ever made. Only thirty of these steel traps were ever made, no more will ever be produced and this trap is #20 of 30.

Here is an opportunity to own one of these rare and unique traps.

This trap dwarfs a #6 Newhouse which was the largest commercially produced bear trap at just under 50 pounds and about 45" in length.

This #8 is 63" long and weighs approximately 138 pounds. The springs are 3/8" thick and it has the strongest springs you will ever see on a trap. The springs and the brass tag have been "hand stamped" with the unique walking bears, and the side of the jaws, the ring, the base, and the drag, are hand stamped with the company name also. The jaws are unique in design and make this trap the ideal display in that hunting lodge, bar, restaurant, sporting goods store, etc. This trap comes with a forged three prong drag and cold shut rated at 12,500lbs. The chain is "hi test" and rated at 15,000 lbs.

The workmanship on the trap is excellent; (better than anything that has ever been on the market) and it was 100% made in Idaho, U.S.A. You will not find a better made bear trap anywhere!

Only commercially produced trap that comes with a factory drag.

The teeth are unique, and this is the only bear trap made with teeth on top of the jaws, and it displays well with the jaws closed, so there is no need to prop it open for display.
