Original Colt Woodsman, 1st Series, manufactured in 1931 according to the serial number. This pistol has the correct medium weight barrel at 6 5/8 inch length, and is in the original brown box with hinged top, serial numbered to the pistol. The box is completely present but the forward strip of the box top has separated from the top. It can be reattached with the proper archival materials. The price of the pistol is marked on the bottom of the box with the serial number -- $32.50 !! Imagine being able to buy a Colt Woodsman 1st series for such a price ! All parts, sights, grips and finish are original. Wood grips and metal are about 97% with some indications of use. Serial number 80054.
