Custom built Winchester pre 64 (1955) Model 70 Target Action (clip slotted) caliber 30-06. Hart heavy stainless 26 inch 1-10 twist barrel. Reciever and bolt have been trued the barrel crowned. Iron sight blocks on reciever and barrel. Leupold QRW steel 30 mm rings and bases. No iron sights or scope included. Barreled action has been finished to match by a process that blues stainless steel (not a painted finish). McMillan A-3 Tactical (sniper fill) stock with adjustable cheek and butt plate. This rifle was built for Tactical and or Long Range competition. A total of 466 rounds have been fired thru it. Record book provided. It will produce one hole groups with quality hand loads or Federal Match ammo. Winchester pre 64 Target Actions have been long sought after by serious shooters because of the smoothness of operation and the quick reload by way of a 5 round stripper clip.
