Excellent bright bore with sharp rifling showing just light wear. Exterior is an even smooth gray patina, with some areas of light surface pitting. Clean cylinder chambers. Four perfectly spaced solid tight hammer clicks. Tight, solid action lockup. Barrel address is light but sharp and fully readable. Grips appear to be old polished bone (not factory original). The action is way too good to be original, so the gun has been rebuilt. So, not all parts just as they were in 1884, but a nice looking, solid functioning Frontier era Colt. Buyer must be over 21 years and a legal buyer of antique guns in his state, some states have restrictions on cartridge antique handguns, CO, CT, DC, IL, MA, MD, MI, NJ, NY. Proof of age required.
